Mass Exodus: 1.6 Million Migrants Gone, Now What?
DHS Secretary Noem reports a decline of 1.6 million illegal migrants in 200 days.
Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced a decrease of approximately 1.6 million illegal aliens in the U.S. within her first 200 days in office. This reduction is attributed to a new international ad campaign and policy reforms.
Noem emphasized the benefits of fewer illegal aliens, including safer streets, taxpayer savings, and better job opportunities for Americans. Under her management DHS ended the CBP One App and introduced the CBP Home App under Operation Homecoming. This app assists illegal aliens with self-deportation, offering $1,000 and a free flight.
If these numbers are accurate, Noem can take pride in her efficiency. But it’s unclear whether the job market can survive without the workers willing to do the jobs most Americans avoid.
